ControlSuite is here to stay!

Well there we go. Kofax lives up to their promise of not only catching up the development gap that unfortunately appeared between their print management solutions and their competitors. Kofax ControlSuite jumps into the future by combining aggressive pricing and total functionality all in one powerful platform.

Today Kofax ControlSuite is a combination of three powerful components:  Autostore, Equitrac and Output manager. More is to come. The simple user-based pricing removes confusing licensing models and avoids errors. One license – everything included.

This brings us to the next generation of solutions from Kofax. ControlSuite is a complete digitization platform with Secure Printing, Capture and Output Management that we are proud to bring to the market.

Kofax acquires Nuance Document Imaging

Yesterday it was announced that Kofax has acquired Nuance Document Imaging division. Kofax is a leading supplier of Intelligent Automation software to automate and digitally transform end-to-end business processes. In their announcement Kofax says: “Through the acquisition of Nuance’s document imaging division, Kofax will drive customer value by adding key technologies, including cloud compatibility, scan-to-archive, scan-to-workflow, print management and document security, to our end-to-end Intelligent Automation platform,” said Reynolds C. Bish, Chief Executive Officer of Kofax. “In addition we will now be able to combine the best capture and print management capabilities available in the market into one product portfolio.” We are excited to cooperate with Kofax and look forward to 2019!

AutoStore 6 had end of sale September 30th 2015 – And end of support will happen December 28th 2018
We recommend you talk to your customers and get them to upgrade to Autostore 7. If the customer has valid maintenance, the new AS7 license is free of charge.

ShareScan 5.x has an end of sales for Add-ons June 30th 2019. End of support for ShareScan 5.x is set to June 30th 2024.

We always offer our resellers and customers NFR- or demo licenses, so that they can try and familiarise themselves with our solutions.

NFR licenses are reserved for resellers and partners. They contain all the necessary functionality and are perfect for showrooms. Here we are able to set up different workflows and configure them after desire.

Demo licenses are mainly used for customers who want to test a solution before purchasing, or even in a “Proof of Concept” installation. The licenses have a short-term validity, usually between 30 and 60 days, but with full functionality.

Partner Event in Finland

After launching Best of Breed Oy in February, we have recieved good response from the market. Thursday the 3rd of May we arranged our first Partner Event in Finland at Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport together with one of our suppliers, Nuance. The main topics of the event were security and document flow, where we focused on Equitrac, Capture&Retrieve and Output Manager. With almost 30 participants from 16 different companies, we are very pleased with the attendance and the good feedback we got during the event and the days after.
