All businesses have some degree of requirement to digitalise and optimise their workflows. Our preferred way of using Scan Capture is to combine it with
Hot folder Capture, but this is only possible if the process is wholly automated. In order to provide user input, the alternative is to scan to a file where the user captures the document using File Capture. The advantage of these two solutions is that you do not need any extra software for the scanner.

In some circumstances, it may still be appropriate to integrate Scan Capture into the scanner. This means that user input can take place prior to the document being forwarded for processing.

After processing generates the desired file format etc., the document can be automatically routed to the preferred destination through the use of the solution’s integrated connectors.

However, the biggest argument in favour of this solution is retrieval. Through OCR processing, naming and indexing the documents by metadata, everyone’s daily working day within the business is streamlined.
